RSL understands the importance of receiving your inventory in a timely manner. We strive to expedite the receiving process to ensure your products are available for sale as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, certain situations will cause a delay in receiving your items into inventory. Below are a few examples that will result in receiving delays:

  • Items arriving on RSL’s dock with UPC labeling, but the UPC was not entered during SKU set up.
  • Items arriving on RSL’s dock with no UPC labeling. RSL will have to barcode the items prior to completing the receiving process.
  • ASN (Advanced Shipment Notice) not created prior to the items arriving to RSL.
  • Mixed shipments requiring sorting prior to starting the receiving process.

Recently, we have noticed an increase in items arriving to RSL Fulfillment Centers without a UPC assigned to the SKU in SmartFill. As a reminder, all SKUs must be set up properly and completely prior to sending inventory to RSL. Receiving will be delayed if an ASN and SKUs are not set up in SmartFill prior to the arrival of shipments.
